connecting to the internet?
On my home network, I have two computers that need to be on the internet. I have a Speed Stream 5200 DSL modem and a Kingston EtheRx work group hub. Without the hub, either computer can connect to the internet... but you cannot have both computers connected at the same time. One computer can connect through the hub, the other cannot. How can I make the other computer connect? I am fairly computer savvy and running into a brick wall with this problem. Help would be appreciated.
Replace your hub with a router.
The hub does not have the ability to share a single internet connection. A router does, use NAT (network address translation)
